Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil/Geotechnical/Structural Engineering or closely related discipline.
• 3+ years of proven engineering experience in foundation design, piling, ground retention, shoring, excavation, and demolition.
• Experience with Australian construction standards and project environments is non-negotiable.
• Ability to prepare take-offs and cost estimates and contribute to client-facing quotes.

Responsibilities

• Design and engineer structural and geotechnical systems for complex groundworks, CFA piling, hand piling, shoring, and demolition scopes.
• Adapt designs to address on-site soil conditions and weather-related challenges.
• Collaborate with pre-construction and operations teams to support quoting, scoping, pricing, and trade package coordination.
• Analyze geotechnical reports and site data to produce efficient, safe foundation solutions.
• Ensure compliance with local codes, safety standards, and engineering best practices.
• Prepare detailed take-offs and cost estimates; contribute to client-ready proposals for piling, shoring, excavation, and demolition.
• Provide on-site technical support to ensure design intent is met and deviations are mitigated.
