Job summary

TE Connectivity plc is seeking a Sr. Manager Procurement Data Connectivity to drive NPI procurement success across regions and commodities. You will lead cross-functional teams, shape sourcing strategy, and secure annual cost savings while aligning with product cost management, finance, and engineering objectives.

You will influence the Product Line Strategy, own the savings pipeline, and ensure timely, on-budget delivery for complex data connectivity programs in a global, matrix environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Economics or Industrial Engineering or equivalent.
• Toolmaker (Stamping/ Molding or Assembly tools) with master degree.
• Minimum 8-10 years experience in Automotive Industry.
• Several years experience in Procurement and Project Management.
• Experience in a technical field (process engineering, product engineering, tool manufacturing) and multicultural teams.
• Leadership of international, cross-regional teams.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Support target cost setting to facilitate project acquisition.
• Guide Product Line Management on strategy and priority setting.
• Be a core team member representing procurement across regions.
• Own the procurement savings pipeline and annual cost improvements.
• Collaborate with regions on best practices and supplier development.
• Coordinate with Finance on should-cost visibility and performance.
• Screen portfolio for opportunities and drive global execution.
• Communicate NPI road map and ensure procurement alignment.
• Set up team structure to support NPI and timely corporate targets.
• Escalate to keep projects on time and budget; drive cost reduction initiatives.
