Job summary

UN News seeks an Individual Consultant to conduct a comprehensive desk review on prevention interventions for child marriage and GBV among adolescents in Cambodia, Lao PDR, and the Philippines. The consultant will engage stakeholders, collect data, and perform a gap analysis to propose evidence-based recommendations and country-specific roadmaps.

The assignment is home-based (international travel anticipated).

Qualifications

• Seven years of relevant experience in research or programming on GBV, CSE, and harmful practices.
• Demonstrated experience in policy analysis, qualitative research, and stakeholder engagement in the Asia Pacific region.
• Familiarity with global and regional frameworks on CSE, GBV prevention, and harmful practices.
• Excellent analytical, writing, and presentation skills.
• Proficiency in English.

Responsibilities

• Desk Review focusing on literature and prevention interventions in Cambodia, Lao PDR and the Philippines.
• Develop data collection tools and coordinate with national consultants for data gathering.
• Conduct gap analysis and formulate evidence-based recommendations and strategic interventions.
• Develop country-specific roadmaps to guide CO rollout of recommendations and measurement framework.
