Job summary

Pavago is hiring a Budgeting & Forecasting Specialist (FP&A) to lead budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning for a remote role. You will build financial models, run planning cycles, and provide insights to leadership across Finance, Operations, and department heads.

You’ll develop budgets, maintain rolling forecasts, analyze performance, and offer actionable recommendations to drive business strategy. Strong Excel/Sheets skills and clear communication are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
• 3+ years of FP&A, budgeting, or forecasting experience.
• Advanced Excel/Google Sheets with nested formulas and Pivot Tables.
• Experience with variance analyses and executive reporting.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication.

Responsibilities

• Budget Development: Lead the preparation of annual operating and capital budgets.
• Forecasting: Maintain rolling forecasts for revenue, expenses, and cash flow.
• Variance Analysis: Compare actual performance against budgets and explain variances.
• Financial Modeling: Build dynamic models (DCF, ROI, IRR) in Excel/Sheets.
• Reporting: Prepare executive packs and dashboards with insights.
• Collaboration & Process: Partner with leaders; improve FP&A processes and tools.
