Fleetio is seeking a Senior Technical Project Manager to be the founding project management hire supporting our most strategic technical delivery work. This is a day-zero role where you define how world-class project management operates inside our product and engineering organization.

Your focus is supporting our Solutions Engineering capability—delivering custom technical solutions, integrations, and SOW-based engagements for our largest enterprise accounts—while secondarily supporting Platform

Qualifications

• 7+ years of technical project or program delivery experience, with at least 3 years at a senior level.
• Proven ability to run multiple complex projects in parallel across cross-functional teams.
• Track record building stakeholder alignment and reporting to executives.
• Experience delivering customer-impacting technical work in enterprise software (SOW-based or custom delivery).
• Fluency in facilitating architecture/integration discussions and managing dependencies.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the founding PM for the Engineering organization, establishing cadence, tracking, and reporting from day one.
• Drive delivery of Solutions Engineering projects for strategic enterprise accounts (custom plans, integrations, SOW-based engagements).
• Facilitate SOW inception: scope, deliverables, estimation, milestones, and accountability.
• Support Platform Engineering initiatives with same delivery discipline (milestones, risks, dependencies).
• Deliver weekly business updates to executives and senior leadership across product and engineering.
• Partner with Customer Success and Solutions Consulting to drive clear expectations and strong business cases; join customer calls when needed.
• Establish and maintain clear project communication plans for every project.
• Assess PM tooling and recommend long-term setup with support teams.
