Sun Life is seeking an FC CoE QA Lead/SME to drive the quality assurance framework across Financial Crime CoE operations. You will challenge operational outcomes, assess adherence to policies, and report on effectiveness across jurisdictions and activities.

The role requires subject matter expertise, capability development, and training for new hires. Responsibilities include QA reviews, methodological enhancement, coaching, and escalation of critical findings.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in business, finance, audit, or related field.
• AML/ATF knowledge or similar certifications are considered an asset.
• 3–5 years of experience in AML operations, quality assurance, audit, or compliance monitoring.

Aufgaben

• Conduct systematic QA reviews of alerts, transactions, and deliverables for accuracy and compliance.
• Develop and maintain QA frameworks, sampling methods, and evaluation criteria.
• Document audit findings with evidence and actionable recommendations.
• Identify trends, root causes, and remediation opportunities through data analysis.
• Provide coaching and QA reporting to FC CoE leadership; escalate issues as needed.
• Lead QA calibration sessions to ensure consistent interpretation of procedures.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of AML regulations and trends.
