Job summary

Access Offshoring Philippines, Inc. seeks a detail-oriented estimator to prepare accurate material quantities and component breakdowns for fencing and gate projects. You will review drawings and specifications, determine materials, and create itemised Bills of Materials for tender use.

Collaboration with the Business Owner and project team is essential for accuracy and timely delivery. The role focuses on measurement, quantity accuracy, and clear documentation.

Qualifications

• Education in quantity surveying, construction, engineering or related training or equivalent practical experience in material take-offs.
• Experience and competency reading construction and shop drawings.
• Understanding of how components form a complete construction/fabrication system.
• Managing several take-offs and identifying missing or inconsistent information.
• Clear written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Review drawings and project documentation to verify scales, dimensions, and revisions.
• Complete accurate fencing and gate take-offs and calculate required components.
• Prepare complete material and component breakdowns (posts, panels, rails, etc.).
• Produce itemised Bills of Materials grouped by fence type, location or supplier.
• Maintain accuracy, traceability and revision control with marked-up drawings.
