Tech Solutions LA Inc. is seeking an experienced U.S. Enrolled Agent to support a growing U.S.-based accounting firm. This remote role suits a tax professional with strong expertise in U.S.

federal and state taxation, comfortable collaborating with a U.S. team. You will prepare and review U.S. federal and state returns (1040, 1065, 1120/1120S, 1041), respond to IRS notices, conduct tax research, and assist with planning.

Qualifications

• Active Enrolled Agent credential (IRS)
• 3+ years of hands-on U.S. tax preparation experience
• Strong knowledge of federal and multi-state taxation
• Experience with U.S. accounting firms (preferred)
• Proficiency with U.S. tax software: Lacerte, UltraTax, ProSeries, Drake, CCH ProSystem fx
• Familiarity with QuickBooks Online/Desktop
• Strong English communication (written and verbal)
• Ability to work during U.S. business hours
• Reliable internet and dedicated home office setup

Responsabilités

• Prepare and review U.S. federal and state tax returns for individuals, partnerships, corporations, and trusts
• Analyze financial statements and trial balances for tax preparation
• Perform tax research and document findings
• Respond to IRS notices and draft professional responses
• Assist with tax planning and projections
• Support audit representation and IRS communications
• Ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with U.S. tax laws
• Communicate with U.S.-based clients and internal staff professionally
