Job summary

CPA Staffing Partners is seeking a knowledgeable US Tax Specialist to provide tax preparation and compliance support for U.S.-based CPA and tax firms. The role involves preparing federal, state, and local returns, organizing client information, performing tax research, and preparing workpapers while meeting deadlines. The position is remote from the Philippines, collaborating with assigned U.S.

clients during aligned business hours. Ideal candidates will have hands-on U.S.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Taxation, or a related field.
Experience in U.S. tax preparation, tax compliance, public accounting, or related role.
Practical experience preparing U.S. federal and state tax returns.
Experience with individual returns preferred depending on client assignment.
Proficiency with tax software and ability to manage multiple deadlines.

Responsibilities

Prepare accurate federal, state, and local tax returns.
Prepare Form 1040 and related schedules for individuals; Forms 1065, 1120, 1120-S for business returns.
Review W-2, 1099, K-1, 1098 and other tax documents for accuracy.
Organize client tax documents and prepare tax workpapers for review.
Monitor deadlines and respond to tax authorities as needed.
