Job summary

My Amazon Guy is recruiting for a remote Email & SMS Marketing Specialist to manage lifecycle campaigns for multiple DTC brands. You will define cadence, segments, and targets across Klaviyo and MailChimp, building automated flows to drive retention and revenue.

You will collaborate with Brand Strategists and Creative teams, analyze data, run tests, and ensure timely execution for EST business hours, with room to scale across additional brands.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of hands‑on experience with email/SMS platforms (Klaviyo & MailChimp preferred).
• Proven ability to build and optimize lifecycle flows and campaigns that drive retention and revenue.
• Strong knowledge of segmentation, A/B testing, and personalization strategies.
• Copywriting and visual direction skills for high‑performing email/SMS creatives.
• Familiarity with popup and list‑building tools (e.g., Justuno, OptiMonk, Privy).
• Analytical mindset with experience in campaign reporting and optimization.
• Ability to manage multiple brands and campaigns simultaneously.
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail and clear, proactive communication.

Responsibilities

• Manage email and SMS marketing performance and strategy across Klaviyo and MailChimp for 3–4 DTC brands (with potential to scale).
• Define communication cadence, tone, segmentation, and performance targets for each brand’s owned channels.
• Build, test, and optimize automated flows, triggers, and customer segments for lifecycle and retention marketing.
• Use data and customer insights to personalize messaging and drive higher conversions throughout the customer journey.
• Plan and execute 6–12+ monthly campaigns per client, including offer strategy, content coordination, QA, and scheduling.
• Run A/B tests on subject lines, content, and offers to continually improve open rates, CTRs, and conversions.
• Create and manage lead capture strategies (popups, forms, lead magnets) to grow and improve subscriber quality.
• Analyze campaign and flow performance; deliver reports with actionable insights and next steps.
• Optimize funnel performance across engagement, revenue per recipient, and inbox deliverability.
• Collaborate with Brand Strategists, Creative, and Website teams to ensure campaigns align with overall brand strategy.
• Maintain organized campaign calendars and ensure timely, accurate execution.
