UMAEZ LLC is seeking a high-output video editor for paid social content across US, Malaysia, and the Philippines. You will edit UGC-style and direct-response ads, deliver platform-ready cuts, and adapt quickly to briefs and feedback.

This fully remote contractor role demands strong pacing, proficiency in Premiere Pro or CapCut, and the ability to produce multiple test versions while maintaining quality at speed.

Qualifications

• Portfolio of edited video ads—UGC, direct-response, or DTC content.
• Proficiency in Premiere Pro and CapCut; fast editing in either tool.
• Strong pacing sense; know when to cut and how to hook.
• Understanding of paid social video mechanics across Meta and TikTok.
• Reliable output with ability to handle multiple edits and meet deadlines.
• Receptive to feedback; revisions are part of improving performance.

Responsibilities

• Edit UGC-style and direct-response video ads from raw footage with fast pacing and strong hooks.
• Apply motion graphics, captions, text overlays, sound design for platform-ready content.
• Work from briefs and scripts, while bringing your eye to the edit.
• Produce multiple versions of the same concept for testing hooks and CTAs.
• Receive briefs from strategists, deliver first cuts on time, and respond to notes quickly.
• Keep project files organized per SOPs and assist in repurposing content when needed.
