Job summary

Advantage HQ is seeking a Director of Data & Analytics to lead the data strategy, analytics function, and measurement infrastructure. You will work with leadership and cross-functional teams to improve visibility into performance, strengthen decision-making, and scale data capabilities across the business.

You will build scalable analytics systems, mentor analysts, and partner with engineering to improve data pipelines and dashboards.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in data analytics, BI, data engineering, or related fields, including leadership
• Experience building or scaling a data and analytics function
• Strong SQL skills and experience with modern data warehouses and analytics infrastructure
• Experience with BI/visualization tools such as Looker, Tableau, Power BI
• Designing dashboards, KPI frameworks, reporting systems, and performance measurement processes
• Strong understanding of marketing analytics, paid media measurement, attribution, and e‑commerce performance
• Experience working with large, complex datasets from multiple platforms
• Familiarity with data pipelines, ETL/ELT, data modeling, and data quality management
• Experience managing and developing analytics professionals
• Strong business judgment and ability to communicate findings to non-technical stakeholders
• Experience in agency, DTC, e-commerce, or high-growth tech environments is valuable
• Familiarity with AI-driven analytics or predictive modeling is a plus

Responsibilities

• Build the data and analytics foundation with robust infrastructure and reporting standards
• Translate complex datasets into actionable insights that drive strategy, media performance, and client outcomes
• Develop measurement and attribution capabilities across paid media, creator partnerships, and customer acquisition
• Build scalable analytics systems and automate reporting to reduce manual work
• Lead, mentor, and develop analytics professionals and establish clear expectations
