Qualifications

• 3–5 years of professional diamond drilling experience in mining or exploration.
• Experience operating diamond drill rigs in underground and/or surface environments.
• Strong commitment to safety, discipline, and site procedures.
• Proven ability to meet drilling productivity and core recovery targets.
• Experience working in remote camp-based or rotational roster settings.
• English communication for coordination, reporting and safety communications.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate and monitor diamond drill rigs to support exploration and mine development drilling programs.
• Achieve planned drilling targets, productivity, and performance requirements.
• Deliver high-quality core recovery and proper core handling.
• Ensure accurate core handling, sample management, and presentation.
• Conduct preventive maintenance and routine inspections to maximise equipment availability.
• Troubleshoot technical issues to minimize downtime.
• Identify hazards and implement safety controls per site procedures.
• Maintain compliance with health, safety, environmental, and operational standards.
• Collaborate with geologists and maintenance teams to execute drilling programs.
• Support continuous improvement to enhance drilling performance and safety.
