Job summary

IGT is seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer based in the Philippines to help build, scale, and operate our platforms. The role combines development (about 80%) with operational support (about 20%), in a small, collaborative agile team focused on automation and reliability.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in DevOps or Software Development roles.
• Strong experience in Java and Spring Boot.
• Scripting skills in PowerShell or similar scripting languages.
• Hands-on with CI/CD tooling such as Jenkins or GitHub Actions.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code.
• Experience with containerised, virtualised, or distributed environments.
• Solid understanding of containerisation and orchestration.
• Experience with monitoring and observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or similar).
• Good understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
• Experience working in Agile delivery environments.

Responsibilities

• Write and contribute code to improve scalability, reliability, and performance.
• Contribute unit tests and participate in peer reviews to maintain a high quality codebase.
• Build, maintain, and optimise CI/CD pipelines for fast, reliable releases.
• Ensure operational readiness of solutions, including performance, monitoring, and disaster recovery considerations.
• Drive adoption of DevOps, CI/CD and automation.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Installs and Support teams to ensure platforms are production ready and well supported.
