Job summary

IGT is seeking a Software Engineer (Dev) to join our Philippines-based development team. You will design, develop, and maintain software across Java/Spring and legacy C++/C# platforms while ensuring high quality and reliable SQL data solutions.

You will collaborate with engineers, QA, product stakeholders, and leaders, contribute to the full SDLC, and help deliver software that powers gaming experiences globally. Remote-friendly role with a focus on disciplined execution.

Qualifications

• 3-5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Commercial experience with Java and Spring Framework.
• Experience developing and maintaining SQL database solutions.
• Experience with C#, C++ (MFC) and related tooling.
• Familiarity with Git and code reviews are beneficial.
• Strong understanding of OO design and QA principles.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain software solutions primarily in Java/Spring.
• Maintain and enhance existing C++ (MFC) and C# applications.
• Develop SQL database objects, queries, and reporting logic.
• Collaborate with teammates and stakeholders to implement technical solutions.
• Participate in design discussions and ensure code quality through reviews.
• Troubleshoot defects and document technical details as needed.
