Job summary

Cofense is seeking a Data Engineer to integrate enterprise data from diverse sources and build scalable data pipelines using Python and SQL. You will work with cloud platforms (Azure/AWS), design data models, and ensure secure data movement to BI tools like Power BI and Splunk.

The role requires strong data warehousing experience and collaboration with Architects and Cloud Engineers to shape Cofense’s Data Platform while delivering reliable analytics across departments.

Qualifications

• Over 5 years of proven experience in data architecture, data modelling, and lifecycle management.
• Expertise in SQL with data transformations and troubleshooting across multiple database platforms.
• Strong Python skills for ETL and data processing.
• Experience with NoSQL databases (DynamoDB, Mongo) and Big Data tools (Hadoop, Spark, Kafka/Kinesis/SQS).
• Hands-on experience designing and developing ETL data pipelines and apps using SQL and Python.

Responsibilities

• Develop and integrate enterprise-wide data from Cofense’s applications and data sources.
• Build and optimize data pipelines on Azure/AWS across multi-product and multi-department datasets.
• Collaborate with architects and cloud engineers on Data Platform design.
• Secure data end-to-end while moving data across systems and delivering it to BI tools.
• Integrate Data Platform with BI tools like Power BI and Splunk.
