Job summary

EY-GDS Consulting is seeking a Cloud Senior Data Engineer to join the Data Engineering Team. You will help build cloud data ingestion pipelines, work with multiple cloud platforms, and support BI tooling deployment.

The role requires strong analytics, collaboration with business teams, and experience in data architecture and CI/CD practices. The ideal candidate enjoys solving complex technical problems, participates in an interdisciplinary environment, and will contribute to EY’s broader data

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of experience in developing cloud data ingestion and processing pipelines using at least 2 of the following cloud services: Azure, AWS, GCP, Databricks, Snowflake or Hadoop.
• Hands-on experience with BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Looker, or Qlik.
• Hands-on experience with Python, PySpark, Scala, JavaScript and SQL.
• Familiar with data modelling best practices for data engineers.
• Familiar with CI/CD development using DevOps/Git.
• Familiar with data architecture best practices on NoSQL, RDBMS, or Databricks Unity Catalog.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; good in debugging and optimization.
• Good communication and presentation skills for gathering requirements and presenting solutions.
