Job summary

Sourcefit is seeking a hands‑on Data and Integration Engineer (AI and Automation) to own and advance API integrations across finance, operations, and service platforms. You will focus on data quality, automation, reporting, and secure AI capability integration, delivering reliable, well‑documented solutions to reduce manual effort.

You will work with non‑technical stakeholders to translate requirements into specifications, build central data warehouse components, and create insightful dashboards

Qualifications

• Substantial hands‑on experience designing, building, and supporting API integrations in production.
• Strong knowledge of REST, OAuth2, and webhooks.
• Experience with two‑way synchronization, retries, idempotency, and reconciliation.
• Experience with vendor APIs such as Microsoft Graph, Entra APIs, or similar.
• Ability to work under production constraints like permissions and rate limits.
• Strong SQL skills and data transformation with Power Query.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain API integrations between business systems with two‑way sync.
• Implement robust error handling, alerting, and reconciliation checks.
• Automate recurring processes across finance and operations with auditable workflows.
• Identify and remediate data quality issues at source and implement controls.
• Contribute to central data warehouse design, including staging and history handling.
• Develop reports and dashboards from the central data layer for business users.
• Build AI‑assisted workflows to improve throughput and accelerate engineering work.
• Translate business needs into clear specifications from non‑technical stakeholders.
• Assess vendor APIs and develop secure, reliable integrations.
