Job summary

Sourcefit Philippines, Inc. is seeking a Data and Integration Engineer (AI and Automation) to own and develop API integrations across finance, operations, and data platforms.

The role focuses on API integration engineering, data quality, automation, reporting, and secure AI-enabled integrations, delivering reliable, well-documented solutions that reduce manual effort and improve data accessibility.

Qualifications

• Substantial hands-on experience in API integrations between business systems in production.
• Strong working knowledge of REST, OAuth2, and webhooks.
• Experience with two-way synchronization, idempotency, and reconciliation.
• Experience with Microsoft Graph, Entra APIs, or comparable vendor APIs.
• Ability to work with production constraints such as permission limitations, rate limits, restricted schema access.
• Strong SQL skills (queries, joins, views, stored procedures).
• Experience with Power Query, ETL, data transformation, and M language.
• Experience automating recurring processes end-to-end with scheduling and monitoring.
• Practical experience using AI coding tools within a reviewed workflow.
• Experience building reports/dashboards with Power BI or similar.
• Ability to translate reporting requirements from non-technical stakeholders into outputs.
• Understanding of underlying data model effects on reporting.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain API integrations between business systems with two-way synchronization.
• Build integrations with error handling, alerts, and reconciliation checks for data feeds.
• Automate recurring manual processes across finance and operations with auditable workflows.
• Identify and remediate data quality issues at source with controls to prevent recurrence.
• Contribute to central data warehouse design, including staging, entity matching, and history handling.
• Develop reports and dashboards from the central data layer for business users.
• Build AI-assisted workflows to improve business throughput and accelerate engineering work.
• Gather requirements from non-technical stakeholders and translate to clear specifications.
• Assess vendor APIs and develop secure, reliable integration solutions.
• Work within production constraints: permissions, rate limits, schema access, and documentation parity.
• Ensure documentation, monitoring, and source-control practices across solutions.
• Follow delivery process: planning, scope, pre-sales, peer review, go-live.
