Job summary

Aptean is seeking an Integration Engineer to join the ASCENT team in the Philippines. You will design and operate data pipelines for AI workflows, connect enterprise systems, and help customers extract and integrate data into Aptean's semantic layer.

You will collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders, write efficient SQL queries, and support API-based integrations across ERP/CRM systems. Strong English communication is essential for this client-facing role.

Qualifications

• 4-6 years of experience in integrating enterprise systems and data extraction.
• Familiarity with APIs, integrations, and development environments.
• Top-notch proficiency in Python scripting and automation.
• Ability to write efficient SQL queries for data analysis and troubleshooting.
• This is a client facing role with strong English communication required.
• Experience with ERP/CRM systems is a strong plus.

Responsibilities

• Build, operate and support production-grade data pipelines for AI workflows.
• Understand the customer's business, data points required and the extraction cadence.
• Identify data sources, outline extraction techniques, document and gain stakeholder buy‑in.
• Write extractors to populate Aptean semantic layer and ontology.
• Update systems using APIs and SQL queries.
• Help customers set up integration techniques like MCP to expose APIs.
