Job summary

Globe Telecom in Manila is seeking a Finance data platform engineer to build and maintain AI-augmented finance applications, analytics, and automation as part of standard delivery.

You will design and scale reusable data products, apply AI-assisted development to code and workflows, and operate production ETL, supporting IFRS 9 ECL validation and data lineage while translating business needs into practical technical solutions.

Qualifications

• Strong Python and SQL skills for production systems.
• Solid software engineering fundamentals including version control and CI/CD.
• Experience building ETL and orchestration at scale.
• Proven track record delivering AI-assisted solutions.
• Depth on at least one cloud data platform; Databricks preferred.
• Product mindset with good documentation and handover.

Responsibilities

• Build and scale reusable data products across portfolios.
• Apply AI-assisted development to code, testing, documentation, and workflow automation.
• Design and operate production ETL including ingestion, cleansing, scheduling and monitoring.
• Support credit risk model work, IFRS 9 ECL validation and data lineage.
• Translate business needs from Finance into technical solutions and actionable recommendations.
