Job summary

Altametrics is seeking an experienced CPA with strong US GAAP knowledge to lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual close from a remote location during US business hours (Pacific Time). The role requires 5+ years in accounting, including 2–3 years in a senior or controller position, and excellent English communication to present with US management.

Qualifications

• CPA with strong knowledge of US GAAP preferred
• 5+ years progressive accounting experience, 2–3 years in senior or controller role
• Excellent English communication (written and verbal) for US management meetings

Responsibilities

• Owns monthly, quarterly, and annual close process with accurate US GAAP statements
• Researches and resolves complex accounting issues including revenue recognition and intercompany transactions
• Supervises accounting staff, reviews reconciliations, AP/AR, and payroll for accuracy
• Establishes and improves internal controls; primary contact for external US audits
• Develops budgets, forecasts, and cash flow projections to support executives
