Job summary

ICON plc is a world-leading healthcare intelligence and clinical research organization offering a remote SMA I role in Mexico. You will support site monitoring activities, ensure protocol compliance, and maintain high standards of operational efficiency.

The role involves coordinating with cross-functional teams, documenting site activities, and contributing to monitoring reports. Travel of about 25% is expected as part of site management responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as life sciences, healthcare administration, or clinical research.
• Some experience in clinical research, site management, or related administrative roles is preferred but not mandatory.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Basic knowledge of clinical trial processes and regulatory requirements is a plus.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
• Willingness to travel as required (approximately 25%)

Responsibilities

• Deliver clinical research work to a high standard, working closely with your team and stakeholders.
• Assist in the monitoring of clinical trial sites, ensuring adherence to study protocols and regulatory requirements.
• Support site management activities, including documentation preparation, data entry, and tracking site performance metrics.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to facilitate communication and address site-related issues effectively.
• Maintain accurate records of site activities and contribute to monitoring reports.
• Participate in training and development initiatives to enhance knowledge and skills in clinical trial management.
