Job summary

Med-Metrix is seeking a Clinical Documentation Integrity Specialist to support remote operations. The role focuses on ensuring accuracy and completeness of inpatient documentation to support proper coding and reimbursement.

You will conduct concurrent chart reviews and collaborate with clinicians to clarify documentation. The position requires an RN license or equivalent and at least 3 years in clinical documentation improvement, with proficiency in CDI tools and MS Office.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years in a clinical documentation improvement role preferred.
• Active RN, MD, DO, NP, or PA license required
• Nursing experience in adult acute care in med/surg, critical care, emergency, or PACU preferred
• Proficient in CDI tools and reporting systems

Responsibilities

• Analyze medical records for incomplete, inconsistent, or inaccurate documentation.
• Perform concurrent chart reviews to ensure documentation reflects patient condition and DRG.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team to clarify documentation and ensure accurate coding.
