Job summary

Amped HQ Pty Ltd is seeking a detail-oriented CAD Technician for our growing remote operations. You will produce accurate drawings, coordinate project requirements, and ensure all technical documentation aligns with international quality standards and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Proven professional experience as a CAD Technician or similar drafting role.
• Experience in construction/engineering environments preferred.
• Strong awareness of NZ standards or equivalent international frameworks.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work autonomously in a remote setting.

Responsibilities

• Draft accurate, detailed technical drawings and documentation using CAD software.
• Coordinate project requirements and provide regular status updates to clients, engineers, and architects.
• Assist in Bills of Quantities and procurement aligned with approved contracts.
• Ensure deliverables meet project specs, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Comply with health, safety, and building codes; review contracts like NZS 3910/3915 and local by-laws.
