Job summary

24x7 Direct Pty Ltd is seeking an Australian Draftsperson & Pre-Site Coordinator to join remotely from the Philippines. You will produce working drawings and town planning packages to Australian standards, while coordinating pre-construction activities across engineering, planning, and contracting teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–3 years' experience in residential architectural drafting for Australian construction firms.
• Proficient in AutoCAD; essential for the role.
• Strong understanding of Victorian residential building permit and planning permit processes.
• Experience working remotely with Australian architectural or residential construction firms.
• Solid knowledge of Australian residential construction standards and the NCC.

Responsibilities

• Produce working drawings for residential homes including floor plans, elevations, sections, site plans, and construction detail drawings to Australian standards using AutoCAD.
• Produce town planning drawings and permit packages per Victorian council and planning scheme requirements.
• Coordinate drawing sets with engineers, surveyors, and consultants; incorporate mark-ups and revisions.
• Prepare and update drawings to reflect variations, permit conditions, or design changes throughout the project lifecycle.
• Coordinate with the Pre-Site team to manage permits, energy ratings, surveys, and approvals.
• Maintain and update presite milestones and job tracker with accurate status notes.
• Assist with tender documentation and general administrative support.
