Job summary

Wingman Group PTY LTD in the Philippines is seeking a detail-oriented Accountant with hands-on experience in Australian accounting practices to manage end-to-end bookkeeping for Australian clients in a remote contractor role.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of Australian accounting experience, proficiency with GST, BAS, FBT, AP/AR, and familiarity with Xero, MYOB, or QuickBooks. Strong accuracy, independence, and communication are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Australian accounting (REQUIRED).
• Direct experience working with Australian clients or companies (REQUIRED).
• Strong knowledge of Australian accounting standards and compliance.
• Hands-on experience with GST, BAS, and FBT.
• Proficiency in Xero, MYOB, or QuickBooks.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end bookkeeping for Australian clients.
• Handle AP/AR processes and reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly financial reports including P&L.
• Assist BAS preparation and lodgement support.
• Ensure compliance with Australian tax regulations; GST and FBT.
• Support payroll processing if required.
• Assist with year-end reporting and audit preparation.
• Collaborate with internal teams and clients for accurate reporting.
