Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• CPA certification is strongly preferred.
• Experience in audit senior role or currently holding a Senior position in a local firm.

Responsibilities

• Assist in performing audit of client financial statements under supervision of senior personnel on team.
• Assist in completing audit workpapers by documenting audit tests and findings.
• Research and develop knowledge of current audit legislation to ensure compliance with US federal, state, and local regulations.
• Collect, assimilate, and analyze client data and use standard processes and tools to complete assigned project work.
• Assist in identifying technical issues in various projects and share suggestions with senior personnel to mitigate the same.
• Recommend on ways to streamline operations and increase client satisfaction.
• Stay up to date with industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to auditing and financial reporting.
• Participate in special projects and initiatives as assigned by management.
