Job summary

GR8 Global Philippines seeks an Audit Senior specializing in Financial Institutions to lead audits for banks and credit unions. You will review financial statements, assess controls, identify risks, and ensure regulatory compliance while collaborating with client teams.

The role requires a CPA or progress toward CPA, 4+ years of audit experience (including US auditing), and strong analytical and communication skills. Onsite Makati in year one; night shift.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
• CPA certification or progress towards CPA required.
• 4+ years of audit background; 1-3 years US auditing experience preferred.
• Experience with multiple clients highly desirable.
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work independently and in a team within a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with MS Office; experience with audit software and ERP systems a plus.
• Onsite work in Makati required for the 1st year; flexiblity for emergencies.
• Night shift may be required.

Responsibilities

• Lead audits for financial institutions, including banks and credit unions.
• Review financial statements and assess internal controls.
• Identify audit risks and support regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with engagement teams and client contacts to complete procedures.
• Document findings and propose practical process improvements.
• Develop knowledge of audit standards and industry regulations.
• Analyze client data including loan portfolios and deposits.
• Identify control and accounting issues and share recommendations.
• Suggest ways to streamline audit processes and improve client satisfaction.
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices.
