Job summary

High Scale, a data-driven agency, seeks an Assistant Video Editor to support post-production and deliver campaigns for TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube. The role emphasizes organizing assets, assembling rough cuts, and assisting senior editors while meeting tight deadlines.

You will work remotely with a global team, ensuring high-quality outputs and strict adherence to brand guidelines. A minimum of 1 year in video editing is expected, with Premiere Pro proficiency and familiarity with

Qualifications

At least 1 year of experience in video editing.
Proficient in Premiere Pro; After Effects is a plus.
Experience with short-form video formats for TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts.

Responsibilities

Organize, label, and manage raw footage, audio files, graphics, and other production assets.
Review and select the best footage, takes, and sound bites for video projects.
Create rough cuts and assemble footage based on scripts, storyboards, and briefs.
Assist editors with editing short-form advertisements for social platforms.
Synchronize audio and video and prepare project timelines for editors.
Apply basic transitions, subtitles, captions, and music as needed.
Resize and reformat videos for different social media placements.
Incorporate revisions based on feedback and meet deadlines.
Perform quality checks to ensure compliance with brand guidelines.
Export, upload, and organize final deliverables per project requirements.
Maintain organized project files and version control.
