Job summary

High Scale, a data-driven agency, seeks an Assistant Video Editor to support post-production and deliver campaigns for TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube. The role emphasizes organizing assets, assembling rough cuts, and assisting senior editors while meeting tight deadlines.

You will work remotely with a global team, ensuring high-quality outputs and strict adherence to brand guidelines. A minimum of 1 year in video editing is expected, with Premiere Pro proficiency and familiarity with

Responsibilities

• Organize, label, and manage raw footage, audio files, graphics, and other production assets.
• Review and select the best footage, takes, and sound bites for video projects.
• Create rough cuts and assemble footage based on scripts, storyboards, and briefs.
• Assist editors with editing short-form advertisements for social platforms.
• Synchronize audio and video and prepare project timelines for editors.
• Apply basic transitions, subtitles, captions, and music as needed.
• Resize and reformat videos for different social media placements.
• Incorporate revisions based on feedback and meet deadlines.
• Perform quality checks to ensure compliance with brand guidelines.
• Export, upload, and organize final deliverables per project requirements.
• Maintain organized project files and version control.

Were looking for a detail-oriented and highly motivated Assistant Video Editor to support our post-production team in delivering high-quality video content at scale.

What Youll Do

• Organize, label, and manage raw footage, audio files, graphics, and other production assets.

• Review and select the best footage, takes, and sound bites for video projects.

• Create rough cuts and assemble footage based on scripts, storyboards, and creative briefs.

• Assist Senior Video Editors with editing short-form advertisements for TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube.

• Synchronize audio and video, organize multicamera footage, and prepare project timelines for editors.

• Add basic transitions, subtitles, captions, sound effects, and music when needed.

• Resize and reformat videos for different social media platforms and advertising placements.

• Implement revisions based on feedback from Editors, Producers, and Creative Strategists.

• Perform quality checks to ensure videos meet technical specifications and brand guidelines.

• Export, upload, and organize final video deliverables according to project requirements.

• Maintain organized project files and ensure proper file naming, version control, and asset management.

• Collaborate remotely with the post-production team to meet deadlines and maintain efficient editing workflows.

Who You Are

• At least 1 year of experience in video editing, post-production, or a related field.

• Proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro. Experience with Adobe After Effects is a plus.

• Familiar with short-form video formats and content for TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and Meta Ads.

• Strong understanding of basic editing techniques, pacing, audio synchronization, and video formatting.

• Highly organized with excellent attention to detail and file management skills.

• Comfortable working with large volumes of footage and managing multiple projects simultaneously.

• Able to follow creative direction, incorporate feedback, and deliver work within tight deadlines.

• Strong English communication skills and comfortable collaborating with a remote team.

• Reliable internet connection and a computer capable of handling professional video editing software.

• Eager to learn, quick to adapt, and excited to take on new creative challenges.
