Yempo - Your Employees Offshore is seeking an Assistant Financial Controller to support the Finance Director and ensure accurate financial reporting. The role is hands-on, covering month-end, cashflow, and transactional finance, with responsibilities across reconciliations, analysis, and process improvement.

Qualifications

• Good Excel skills, including XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, SUMIFS and basic data analysis.
• Experience using Sage.
• Good attention to detail with a strong focus on accuracy.
• Ability to work independently on assigned responsibilities while knowing when to elevate issues to the Finance Director.
• Good numerical and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Support the monthly management accounts process.
• Prepare monthly journals and supporting schedules.
• Complete assigned balance sheet reconciliations.
• Review ledger balances and investigate discrepancies.
• Support the Finance Director with month-end analysis.
• Assist with variances vs budgets, forecasts and prior year.
• Ensure month-end tasks are completed within the timetable.
• Maintain and monitor rolling 13-week cashflow forecast.
• Process customer invoices, supplier payments, and bank reconciliations.
• Support information for year-end audit and ISMS compliance.
