BizForce is seeking a highly skilled AR Specialist – Family Practice Billing to join our US-based healthcare billing team. This full-time remote role focuses on managing outstanding insurance claims, resolving denials, and ensuring timely reimbursements for multiple family practice clients.

You will work with AdvancedMD and Practice Suite EMR/PM systems, perform denial management, and collaborate with client success to improve billing performance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of medical billing experience with AR follow-up.
• Experience in family practice billing including vaccinations and labs.
• Proficient with EMR/PM systems (AdvancedMD, Practice Suite).

Responsibilities

• Manage AR for multiple family practice clients, ensuring timely reimbursement.
• Review and follow up on unpaid, underpaid, denied, and aged claims.
• Handle inquiries for vaccinations, wellness visits, preventive care, labs, and routine visits.
• Investigate claim statuses with payer portals and follow up on delays.
• Prepare corrected claims, reconsiderations, and appeals to carriers.
• Follow SOPs and ensure HIPAA compliance during billing processes.
• Monitor KPIs like AR aging, denial resolution, and collections.
