Job summary

TaskUs is hiring a Senior Associate Project Manager for AI Safety Services. You will lead end-to-end AI data and software projects, coordinating engineers, data scientists, annotators, and stakeholders to deliver on time and within budget.

The role requires strong Agile experience, scripting in Python, and fluency with KPI dashboards (Looker/Power BI). Remote-first collaboration and growth towards senior program leadership are expectations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years managing technical projects or operations in AI data or software domains.

Responsibilities

• End-to-end execution from scoping to annotation, model-pipeline setup, QA, and deployment hand-off.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams: engineers, annotators, data scientists, GTM leads, and client stakeholders.
• Build & automate workflows: create Asana projects; script Python / SQL jobs for metrics and QC checks.
• Track & report KPIs: timelines, throughput, quality, margin, and resource utilisation—dashboards in Looker, Power BI, or Streamlit.
• Drive continuous improvement: identify bottlenecks, run retros, and implement SOP updates that scale to the next project.
• Maintain artefacts: SOWs, RACI charts, risk registers, and knowledge-base pages that keep the team aligned.
• Front-row seat: Work with cutting-edge AI teams solving safety challenges most companies haven’t faced yet.
• Variety & velocity: Juggle multiple high-impact projects, each with unique data and model workflows.
• Growth runway: Define best-practice ops for a scaling business and step into senior-program-manager or operations-lead roles.
• Mission first: Help ensure AI systems are safe, fair, and effective—in partnership with world-class researchers and engineers.
