Job summary

CommerceLabs seeks an editor for high-output, AI-native short-form vertical ads. You will cut 9:16 videos for Meta and TikTok from briefs, craft distinct hook variations, and ensure AI-generated footage feels native with proper pacing and sound.

You will handle frames from a centralized toolstack and iterate quickly based on performance data. You will manage revisions via Frame.io, delivering 5–7 cuts per day on a fixed cadence.

Qualifications

• Background in short-form vertical direct-response editing across health/wellness or similar transformational products preferred.
• Portfolio of exactly 3 ads you personally edited that ran as paid ads with brand, platform, and performance notes.
• Fluent with AI video generation tools and able to describe your workflow.
• Frame.io experience for receiving and turning around written feedback.

Responsibilities

• Cut 9:16 vertical ads for Meta and TikTok from script and scene brief.
• Create genuine hook variations with distinct opening scenes.
• Generate and select AI footage using internal tools and optimize pacing, sound, and clip selection.
• Incorporate feedback across batches with consistent standards.
• Deliver 5–7 finished cuts per day on a Monday/Thursday cadence, pre-launch.
