Hyre in the Philippines is seeking an experienced AI Engineer to design, build, and deploy intelligent AI agents capable of handling complex, multi-step tasks. You will craft context-aware systems, integrate tools, manage memory, and orchestrate workflows using TypeScript, React, and n8n.

Ideal candidates bring 3–5+ years of software engineering in AI-powered apps, with hands-on experience in agent architectures, tool integrations, and production-ready implementations.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of professional software engineering experience in AI-powered applications or intelligent automation.
• Experience building and deploying AI agents beyond basic automation.
• Practical understanding of defining, implementing, and reusing agent skills and tool integrations.
• Experience with context, memory, state, and information retrieval for multi-step tasks.
• Proficiency with TypeScript and React; ability to productionize AI capabilities in software.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and deploy intelligent AI agents capable of multi-step tasks with context-aware decisions.
• Develop reusable agent skills, tools, and capabilities for external integrations and complex workflows.
• Implement context engineering strategies, memory management, and conversation state handling.
• Coordinate tools, workflows, and agent capabilities; manage task decomposition, execution sequences, dependencies, and error handling.
• Design and optimize automation workflows using n8n and related tech stacks; integrate AI models, APIs, and business logic.
• Develop AI-powered features in TypeScript/React and ensure solid backend integrations for agent execution.
• Integrate leading LLMs and third-party APIs; choose models and approaches based on task requirements.
• Test agent behavior with structured cases; improve accuracy, latency, and reliability.
• Deploy AI solutions to production and implement safeguards and monitoring.
• Use Git/GitHub for collaboration; document implementations and maintain code quality.
• Stay updated with agent frameworks and context engineering advancements.
