Job summary

Yempo Inc is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to manage vendor invoices, reimbursements, and payments. The role supports a Australian-based client and requires precise accounting and timely data entry.

The position offers day shifts and the option to work from home or in the office. Strong Excel skills and a minimum of 2 years in accounting are preferred, with exposure to Microsoft Dynamics Business Central desirable.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in accounting, bookkeeping, or any finance-related subject or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in an accounting environment.
• Proficient with MS Excel and basic Windows/MS Office.
• Exposure to AP processes and vendor payments is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Process vendor invoices, credit card transactions, and staff reimbursements.
• Process weekly and monthly vendor payments.
• Reconcile vendor statements.
• Assist with end-of-month processes and reporting.
• Perform general accounting and bookkeeping tasks and prepare trial balances.
• Ensure compliance with policies and procedures including ISMS.
