Job summary

CARE Philippines, a leading humanitarian and development organization, is hiring an Accountant to focus on Finance Operations, Reconciliation and Audit. You will handle Accounts Payable, Billing, Accounts Receivable, Procurement, Cash Management, Asset Management, Vendor Management and General Ledger, supporting timely period close and key schedules.

We seek a qualified professional with a Bachelor's in Accounting/Finance, CPA a plus, 1–2 years of relevant experience, and strong Excel skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration with emphasis in Accounting.
• CPA license is a plus.
• 1 - 2 years of relevant experience in finance and accounting is required
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.

Responsibilities

• Reconcile sub-systems (AP, AR, Project Costing, Assets) to the General Ledger.
• Record and verify non-country and partner organization expenses.
• Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations for Team Lead review.
• Support financial statement consolidation and donor audit compliance.
