Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of accounting experience or similar role.
• Experience in real estate management sector preferred.
• Experience in a multi-client environment.
• Strong computer aptitude with Microsoft 365 applications.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Analytical mindset with attention to detail.
• Ability to work autonomously.

Responsibilities

• Provide management with financial information by researching and analyzing accounts, preparing financial statements.
• Prepare consolidated internal and external financial statements by gathering and analyzing information from the general ledger and departments.
• Maintain and balance an automated consolidation system by inputting data, scheduling jobs, and verifying data.
• Analyze information and options by developing spreadsheet reports and verifying data.
• Prepare general ledger entries and reconcile accounts.
• Prepare payments by accruing expenses and reconciling accounts.
• Develop and implement accounting procedures by analyzing current processes and suggesting changes.
• Answer accounting and financial questions by researching and interpreting data.
• Support mergers and acquisitions by reviewing financial information and converting data to the general ledger.
• Maintain confidentiality to protect organizational value.
• Update knowledge by participating in educational opportunities and reading professional publications.
• Accomplish accounting tasks and organizational goals as needed.
• Review accounts payable and perform other duties as assigned.
