Job summary

Ehvert Mission Critical, a Salas O’Brien company, seeks an experienced independent contractor for a long-term engagement focused on 5D BIM and quantity takeoffs for data centers.

You will work remotely from the Philippines with US-based clients, collaborating with BIM and Estimating teams, using Revit, Assemble, Excel, and Power BI to deliver accurate quantities and design-change analyses.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience working with BIM models in production, coordination, estimating, or VDC.
• Experience on large-scale, technically complex projects (data centers, mission-critical, industrial, or large commercial preferred).

Responsibilities

• Extract, manage, and validate model-based quantities from multidisciplinary BIM models (Structural, Architectural, MEP) using Assemble.
• Leverage strong Revit model understanding to ensure quantities are derived from correctly structured and modeled elements.
• Create and maintain consistent quantity breakdowns aligned with data center scopes (foundations, superstructure, MEP systems, equipment zones, phases).
• Ensure quantity accuracy and traceability across model revisions and design milestones.
• Export structured quantity data to Excel or other cost tools for pricing and analysis.
• Support early design estimating, option comparisons, and value engineering.
