Job summary

BDO Unibank, Inc. is seeking an experienced Remedial Account Officer for Corporate and Commercial Loans in the Metro Manila area. You will manage a portfolio of non-performing loans (NPLs) and Real and Other Properties Acquired (ROPA) while developing and implementing recovery strategies.

You will coordinate with legal counsel, ensure file completeness, and strictly follow credit and risk policies. The role requires at least 3 years in remedial collections and willingness to work onsite in

• Bachelor's degree in a business-related field, or equivalent
• Minimum 3 years experience in Remedial Collections from a bank or financial institution
• Willingness to work onsite in Makati or Ortigas

Responsibilities

• Provide regular feedback to management on loan recovery and RO P A resolution strategies and status
• Coordinate with legal counsel for remedial actions including litigation or required legal opinions
• Ensure completeness of loan and mortgage documents for NPLs and all critical documents for ROPAs
• Adhere to the bank's credit and risk policies and guidelines

Job Summary

The Remedial Account Officer for Corporate and Commercial Loans is responsible for managing a portfolio of Non-Performing Loans (NPLs) and Real and Other Properties Acquired (ROPAs), and initiating and implementing strategies to maximize collection and/or recovery from these assets.

Key Responsibilities:

• Give management regular feedback on all loan recovery and ROPA resolution strategies and status
• Coordinate with legal counsel remedial actions involving litigation and/or requiring legal opinions
• Ensure completeness of loan and mortgage documents covering outstanding approved credits of NPLs and of all other critical documents pertaining to ROPAs for resolution
• Adhere strictly to Bank's credit and risk policies and guidelines

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree holder, preferably in any business-related course
• With at least 3 years experience in Remedial Collections gained from bank or financial institution
• Must be willing to work onsite and be assigned in Makati or Ortigas
