Job summary

Mars Philippines Inc. is seeking a Reliability Custodian in Laguna to oversee inventory, disbursement, and storage of machine spare parts and supplies. You will partner with maintenance, production, and purchasing to ensure efficient material flow.

You will use SAP ATLAS to manage stock levels, perform cycle counts, create PRs, and drive improvements on KPIs such as stock-out and accuracy. The role suits a proactive, hands-on professional in a fast-moving FMCG environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years in inventory and maintenance.
• 3–5 years in maintenance planning and scheduling.
• Strong background in preventive maintenance principles.
• Proficient in basic Microsoft Excel.
• Knowledge of Fishbone and 5 Whys problem-solving.
• Familiarity with GMP, HACCP, Lean Manufacturing.
• Familiar with plant flow, FMCG or food manufacturing.
• NCII forklift operator certification is preferred.
• Basic SAP knowledge is an advantage.
• Energetic, action-oriented and ethical.

Job description

The Reliability Custodian will be responsible for managing the inventory, disbursement, and proper storage of machine spare parts and supplies. This position requires close collaboration with our maintenance, production, and purchasing teams to ensure the efficient and accurate flow of materials.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the inventory, disbursement, and withdrawal of spare parts, consumables, and supplies for Maintenance and Operations.
• Ensure the accurate flow and proper stacking of all spare parts in the stockroom.
• Interface with maintenance mechanics, production associates, and management to check parts in and out of inventory against scheduled maintenance work orders.
• Utilize the SAP ATLAS system to manage inventory, update min/max levels, adjust storage locations, and perform cycle counts.
• Track and drive improvements for key performance indicators (KPIs), including stock-out percentage, inventory accuracy, and cycle count adherence.
• Create purchase requisitions (PRs) and engage in negotiations with local and international suppliers.
• Serve as the DMS Lead for the PM Pillar in Stock Room Management.

Qualifications:

• A minimum of two years of work experience in inventory and maintenance.
• At least three to five years of experience in maintenance planning and scheduling.
• Strong background in preventive maintenance principles and practices.
• Proficiency in basic Microsoft Excel.
• Knowledge of problem-solving methodologies such as Fishbone and 5 Whys.
• Comprehensive knowledge of Food Safety, GMP, HACCP, TMP, and Lean Manufacturing principles.
• Familiarity with plant flow, operations, and utilities, preferably in an FMCG or food manufacturing environment.
• NCII certification as a forklift operator.
• Basic knowledge of SAP is an advantage.
• Demonstrates high energy, an action-oriented mindset, and strong moral character.
