Job summary

Hammerjack Pty Ltd is seeking a Senior Relationship Manager to lead client relationships and drive growth in the HK market. You will manage portfolios, assess needs, and tailor banking and wealth products for top clients.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in client management within banking/financial services, fluent English, and willingness to relocate to Hong Kong. Knowledge of KYC/AML and cross-selling is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Banking, Business Administration, Economics, Accounting, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in relationship management in banking/financial services.
• Proven experience managing corporate, commercial, private banking, wealth management, or institutional clients.
• Strong knowledge of banking products, financial solutions, and credit/financial analysis.
• Experience in client acquisition and portfolio management.
• Understanding of KYC, AML, compliance, and risk management.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong business development and relationship-building abilities.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
• Fluency in English; Cantonese/Mandarin an advantage for HK market.
• Amenable to relocate in Hong Kong.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain relationships with high-net-worth, corporate clients, or institutional clients.
• Develop new business opportunities through client acquisition, referrals, networking, and market development.
• Understand clients' financial objectives, business needs, investment requirements, and risk profiles.
• Recommend banking, lending, investment, wealth management, and financial products.
• Act as the primary point of contact for assigned clients and ensure high-quality customer service.
• Monitor client portfolios and identify cross-selling and up-selling opportunities.
• Conduct client meetings, presentations, account reviews, and business discussions.
• Coordinate with internal teams such as Credit, Risk, Compliance, Operations, Investment, and Product.
• Prepare and review financial information, credit applications, account documents, and client proposals.
• Ensure all activities comply with HK banking regulations, AML/KYC, internal policies, and risk controls.
• Monitor performance and quality of the assigned portfolio and take action when necessary.
• Maintain accurate client records, reports, and documentation.
• Keep updated on market trends, economic developments, financial products, and HK banking regulations.
• Achieve revenue, portfolio growth, client acquisition, and business development targets.
