Job summary

UnionBank in the National Capital Region is seeking a Relationship Manager-Retail Banking to grow the bank's deposit portfolio and customer base through proactive business development and relationship management. The role acquires new clients, strengthens existing relationships, and promotes banking products.

You will work closely with branch operations to ensure excellent service while maintaining compliance with BSP regulations and internal policies, and you will coordinate sales initiatives

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or a related field.
• Experience in retail banking, sales, business development, or relationship management.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and customer relationship skills.

Responsibilities

• Generate new business opportunities and grow deposit accounts (CASA) and funds portfolio.
• Identify, engage, and acquire prospective clients through sales calls and presentations.
• Manage relationships with existing clients and identify cross-selling opportunities.
• Conduct market research and competitor analysis to develop effective sales strategies.
• Evaluate client needs and facilitate referrals for loans, credit cards, bancassurance, and other bank products.
• Coordinate with branch teams to ensure prompt resolution of client concerns.
• Support branch sales initiatives and promote a strong customer service culture.
• Prepare and submit sales activity and client call reports.
