About The Role
The Relationship Manager-Retail Banking is responsible for growing the bank's deposit portfolio and customer base through proactive business development and relationship management. The role acquires new clients, strengthens existing relationships, and promotes banking products and services to achieve business targets. Working closely with branch operations, the Relationship Manager ensures excellent customer service while maintaining compliance with bank policies and regulatory requirements.
What You'll Do
Generate new business opportunities and grow deposit accounts (CASA) and funds portfolio.
Identify, engage, and acquire prospective clients through sales calls and presentations.
Manage relationships with existing clients and identify cross‑selling opportunities.
Conduct market research and competitor analysis to develop effective sales strategies.
Evaluate client needs and facilitate referrals for loans, credit cards, bancassurance, and other bank products.
Coordinate with branch teams to ensure prompt resolution of client concerns.
Support branch sales initiatives and promote a strong customer service culture.
Prepare and submit sales activity and client call reports.
What We're Looking For
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or a related field.
Experience in retail banking, sales, business development, or relationship management.
Strong communication, negotiation, and customer relationship skills.
Knowledge of banking products, CASA generation, and cross‑selling strategies.
Results-driven with the ability to meet sales targets.
Familiarity with BSP regulations, AML/KYC, and banking compliance requirements.
