Overview
A successful candidate should have previous experience as a Physical Rehabilitation Doctor role. Besides, we expect you to have working knowledge of office equipment and office management tools.
Responsibilities
- Patient Assessment: Evaluating patients' physical condition, mobility, and pain levels.
- Treatment Planning: Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans to improve movement, reduce pain, and restore function.
- Therapeutic Exercises: Guiding patients through exercises to strengthen muscles, increase range of motion, and improve coordination.
- Manual Therapy: Utilizing hands-on techniques like massage and mobilization to address musculoskeletal issues.
- Equipment Usage: Assisting patients with the use of assistive devices like walkers or wheelchairs.
- Patient Education: Educating patients and their families about their condition, treatment plan, and home exercise programs.
- Documentation: Maintaining detailed records of patient progress and treatment plans.
- Collaboration: Working with other healthcare professionals, such as physicians and occupational therapists, to provide comprehensive care.
Qualifications
- Physical Therapy Degree: A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree is typically required.
- Licensure: Licensure is necessary to practice physical therapy.
- Clinical Experience: Experience working with patients of various ages and conditions is beneficial.
- Accreditation: Valid PhilHealth Accreditation
- Communication Skills: Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals.
- Problem-solving Skills: Ability to assess patient needs, develop treatment plans, and adapt interventions as needed.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand and move for extended periods, as well as assist patients with various exercises and treatments.
