Job summary

Cardinal Santos Medical Center in Metro Manila (San Juan) seeks a licensed Physical Therapist to assist physicians in rehabilitation, plan therapeutic exercises, and promote patient safety as part of delivering excellent care.

The role involves carrying out prescribed rehabilitation plans for both inpatients and outpatients, monitoring vitals, coordinating with the rehab team, preparing equipment, and maintaining infection control to ensure high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of BS Physical Therapy and licensed/board passer.
• Candidate must be licensed to practice and board-certified in Physical Therapy.

Responsibilities

• Carry out the prescribed Rehabilitation Program for the patient.
• Make treatment plans for patients that will undergo the program.
• Set short-term and long-term goals for patients.
• Perform Rehabilitation program for both in and out patients.
• Monitor vital signs before, during and after the program.
• Coordinate with Rehab consultant and work with the team to ensure high-quality patient care and services.
• Participate in activities associated with clinical concerns of the center, as directed.
• Prepare and check equipment and supplies to be used for the procedure.
• Request maintenance, repair of equipment and furnishings; monitors physical space for cleanliness, neatness and safety.
• Responsible in monitoring of supplies, equipment and checklist of the section.
• Observe infection control measures at all times for patient and personal safety.

Responsible in assisting the physicians in the therapeutic program of the patient’s medical or clinical condition through Rehabilitation. Perform and plan therapeutic exercises for patients. Promote patient safety and support all related programs and policies to ensure delivery of excellent patient care.

QUALIFICATIONS

Must be a graduate of BS Physical Therapy. Must be a board passer and licensed.
