Job summary

Airswift is helping a leading renewable energy developer in Manila, Philippines, to hire a Regulatory & External Affairs Manager. This role will drive regulatory approvals, permitting, and stakeholder engagement across utility-scale Solar, Wind, and energy storage projects.

The successful candidate will bring extensive experience in the Philippine power sector, deep knowledge of energy regulations, and strong relationships with government agencies, industry bodies, and regulators.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in the Philippine power or energy sector.
• Background in Regulatory Affairs, Government Relations, Project Development, Energy Law, or related fields.
• Strong understanding of Philippine energy regulations and permitting processes.
• Experience working with government agencies and regulatory bodies.
• Established network within the Philippine energy industry.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Fluent in English and Tagalog.

Responsibilities

• Lead regulatory approval and compliance activities for renewable energy projects.
• Manage relationships with DOE, ERC, NGCP, IEMOP, LGUs, and other relevant stakeholders.
• Support grid interconnection, market registration, and permitting processes.
• Monitor regulatory and policy developments impacting the power sector.
• Prepare regulatory submissions, position papers, and management briefings.
• Represent the company in industry consultations and stakeholder meetings.
