Job summary

1Cure Philippines is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to coordinate patient care, handle clinic operations, and manage enrollment for PhilHealth benefits at Global Plaza - San Simon, Pampanga. The role requires a PRC license and 3–5+ years in clinical settings.

The nurse will administer vaccines and medications, review medication histories for safety, and educate patients on treatment plans and device use. Mon-Fri, 9:00 AM–6:00 PM, with Saturday shifts possible.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid PRC license as an RN.
• 3–5+ years of clinic/hospital experience.
• Knowledge of PhilHealth YAKAP and GAMOT programs preferred.
• BLS/ACLS certification is an advantage.

Responsibilities

About the role

A Registered Nurse (RN) is a licensed healthcare professional who helps coordinate patient care, handle clinic operations, and manage patient enrollment for PhilHealth's primary care and outpatient medicine benefits.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct initial intake by measuring vital signs (blood pressure, pulse, temperature), recording medical history, and documenting current symptoms.
• Evaluate patient needs, prioritize urgency of care, and collaborate closely with physicians or nurse practitioners to implement treatment plans.
• Administer immunizations, routine injections, and prescribed medications; assist with minor diagnostic tests or lab work (e.g., drawing blood, fluid samples).
• Cross-reference patient medical records with current pharmacy prescriptions to prevent adverse drug interactions and ensure accurate dosing.
• Monitor patients for potential side effects or allergic reactions to newly prescribed therapies and report findings to the clinical team.
• Oversee the proper storage of temperature-sensitive medications (like vaccines), handle inventory tracking, and manage regulated or controlled substances according to medical regulations.
• Educate patients and families on how to self-manage complex medication schedules, use specialized medical devices (e.g., inhalers, glucose meters), and understand potential side effects.
• Maintain accurate patient health profiles, treatment records, documentation for the GAMOT outpatient drug benefit.
• Coordinate with the pharmacy staff to streamline prescription refills, prior authorizations, and transitions of care.
• Assist the primary physician in generating prescriptions containing the mandatory Unique Prescription Security Code (UPSC) required for patients to claim up to ₱20,000 worth of free outpatient medicines annually.

About you

• Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid PRC license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) or Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification is an advantage.
• 3–5+ years of experience working in a clinic or hospital setting.
• Preferably with knowledge of the PhilHealth YAKAP (Yaman ng Kalusugan Program) and GAMOT (Guaranteed and Accessible Medications for Outpatient Treatment) programs.
• Strong clinical judgment, deep knowledge of pharmacology and drug interactions, excellent verbal communication, and empathy in patient counseling.
• Available to work Monday to Saturday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, and willing to be assigned to Global Plaza - San Simon, Pampanga.
