Qualifications

Education & License

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited college or university.
• Must be a Registered Electrical Engineer (REE) with a valid PRC License.
• Additional certifications in AutoCAD Electrical, PLC Programming, Renewable Energy Systems, or Project Management are an advantage.

Experience

• Minimum of 1–5 years of relevant experience in electrical design, installation, operation, or maintenance.
• At least 2 years of professional experience is required for this position.
• Experience in industrial, commercial, or construction projects is preferred.
• Knowledgeable in electrical system design, load calculations, power distribution, and grounding systems.
• Familiar with local electrical codes, safety standards, and preventive maintenance procedures.

Technical Skills

• Proficient in AutoCAD, ETAP, or other electrical design software.
• Strong understanding of control systems, switchgear, transformers, and motor controls.
• Ability to troubleshoot electrical faults and recommend corrective actions.
• Skilled in preparing electrical plans, technical specifications, and cost estimates.
• Knowledge of renewable energy systems (e.g., Solar PV) is an advantage.
